Claude Debussy (b. 22 August 1862–d. 25 March 1918) was one of the most influential composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. During the years 1964 and 1965 Copland wrote, conducted, narrated, and hosted a series of twelve television programs entitled Music in the 20s = Music in the Twenties.
